Presented by: Sanjay Shirude
Abstract: Data management strategy describes what, why and when to manage an organization’s data assets. While data management functions describe where, who and how these assets will be managed, without data management strategy the data management program is rudderless. Without data management functions the data management program is haphazard, and without effective communication the data management program is obscured. These three process are, in essence, the “Locus of Cultural Change” - challenges to As–Is accountabilities, decisions and habits. It is important to know, how the data governance and data quality process simplifies the implementation of this cultural change and assists in implementing data management strategy.
